O R D E R:-
The following notification will be published in the Extraordinary issue of
the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated: 27-04-2012
N O T I F I C A T I O N
Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra
Pradesh that the Ancient temple known as Sri Parvathi Sametha
Bramarambhikeswara Swamy Temple, Gundlapalem Village, Gudluru Mandal,
Prakasam District as specified in the appended Schedule is considered to be of
Archaeological and Historical importance;
2. Andwhereas, the Government are of the opinion Sri Parvathi Sametha
Bramarambhikeswara Swamy Temple, Gundlapalem Village, Gudluru Mandal,
Prakasam District requires protection under the provisions of the Andhra
Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and
Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960);
3. Andwhereas, the Government, have issued Notification in G.O.Ms.No.
36, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated: 18-05-2010 and the same has been
published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.238, Dated: 22-05-2010 at
page.No. 1 its intention to declare the said Ancient Temple to be a protected
monument by giving two months notice as required under sub – section (1) of
section 4 of the said Act;
4. Andwhereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by the
Government to the declaration of the said “Sri Parvathi Sametha
Bramarambhikeswara Swamy Temple”, Gundlapalem Village, Gudluru Mandal,
Prakasam District to be a protected monument during the said period of two
months.
5. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub – section (3)
of section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and
Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960), the Government
of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares that the Ancient “Sri Parvathi Sametha
Bramarambhikeswara Swamy Temple”, Gundlapalem Village, Gudluru Mandal,
Prakasam District as specified in the Schedule to be a protected monument, as
the same having been previously published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette as
required under sub–section (1) of section 4 of the said Act.::2::
SCHEDULE
The Ancient “Sri Parvathi Sametha Bramarambhikeswara Swamy
Temple”, Gundlapalem Village, Gudluru Mandal, Prakasam District with an
extent of 3.00 acres in Survey No. 180/2, 14-60, bounded by the following:
EAST : S.No. 180/2 village site
WEST : S.No. 180/2 village site
NORTH : S.No. 180/2 village site
SOUTH : S.No. 179 Manneti Poramboke
