N O T I F I C A T I O N Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra Pradesh that the ancient temples know as Sri Kamaskhi Sametha, Nageswara Swamy Temple, Modegunta Village, Kovur Mandal, Sri Potti Sree Ramulu Nellore District in Survey No.118/1-A with an extent of 139 Ankanams as described in the Schedule hereunder to be of Archaeological and Historical importance. 2. Andwhereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh are of the opinion that the said ancient Temple requires protection under the provision of Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act VII of 1960) and proposes to declare it to be a protected monument. 3. Now, therefore, notice is hereby given as required under sub–section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act that the aforesaid proposal will be taken into consideration by the Government after the expiry of a period of two months from the date of publication of this notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette. Any objection or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect there to within the aforesaid period may be considered by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Objections or suggestions should be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Youth Advancement Tourism and Culture (Tourism) Department, Andhra Pradesh Secretariat, Hyderabad – 500022. SCHEDULE The Ancient temple known as Sri Kamaskhi Sametha, Nageswara Swamy Temple, Modegunta Village, Kovur Mandal, Sri Potti Sree Ramulu Nellore District in Survey No.118/1-A, with an extent of 139 Ankanams, bounded by the following: East : Road West : Temple Garden North : House of Ega Venkateswarlu South : House of Inakollu Tulasiram (BY ORDER IN THE NAME OF THE GOVERNOR OF ANDHRA PRADESH) CHANDANA KHAN PRINCIPAL SECRETARY TO GOVERNMENT (T) To The Commissioner, Printing, Stationery & Stores Purchase, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad – (with a request to publish the notification in the A.P.
