G.O.Ms.No.64 YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated16-6-2011. 2. From the Director, Archaeology & Museums, Lr.Rc.No. H3/41/2011, Dated: 14-2-2011. ***** O R D E R:- The following notification will be published in the Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette Dated: 27-04-2012. N O T I F I C A T I O N Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra Pradesh that the Ancient site known as Buddhist Site, Munjuluru Village, Bantumilli Mandal, Krishna District as specified in the appended Schedule is considered to be of Archaeological and Historical importance; 2. Andwhereas, the Government are of the opinion that Ancient Buddhist Site, Munjuluru Village, Bantumilli Mandal, Krishna District requires protection under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960); 3. Andwhereas, the Government, have issued Notification in the G.O.Ms.No.64, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated: 16-6-2011 and the same has been published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No. 326 Dated: 30.6.2011 at page.No.1 its intention to declare the said Ancient Site to be a protected monument by giving two months notice as required under sub – section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act; 4. Andwhereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by the Government to the declaration of the said Buddhist Site, Munjuluru Village, Bantumilli Mandal, Krishna District to be a protected monument during the said period of two months. 5. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub – section (3) of Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares that the Ancient Buddhist Site, Munjuluru Village, Bantumilli Mandal, Krishna District as specified in the Schedule to be a protected monument as the same having been previously published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette as required under sub – section (1) of section 4 of the said Act.::2:: SCHEDULE The Ancient Buddhist Site, Munjuluru Village, Bantumilli Mandal, Krishna District in Survey No. R.S.No.286/13 with an extent of Acres 0.43 cents bounded by the following: East : Patta Lands West : Patta Lands North : Patta Lands South : Patta Lands (BY ORDER IN THE NAME OF THE GOVERNOR OF ANDHRA PRADESH) CHANDANA KHAN PRINCIPAL SECRETARY TO GOVERNMENT (T) To The Commissioner, Printing, Stationery & Stores Purchase, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad – (with a request to publish the notification in the A.P.
