Ms. No.33, I&I (Ports.I) Department, dated: 1-7-2009 2) From the DoP, Kakinada letter No. DoP/B1/2820/2011, dated:07-09-2011. ****** ORDER: In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued instructions to the Director of Ports to monitor the enforcement of agreement conditions of various ports handed over to the Developers and revenue to be realized from the Concessionaries in the shape of land lease rentals, concession fee, renewal of performance guarantee etc., furnished by the Concessionaires. 2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Director of Ports, Kakinada has stated that Project Monitoring Unit has been created in the Directorate of Ports, Kakinada to implement the said orders of Government. After thorough review of the functioning of Project Monitoring Unit in Directorate of Ports, he has felt that one post of Divisional Accounts Officer (Works) and one post of Law Officer posts are required to strengthen the PMU. 3. The Director of Ports has therefore, requested the Government that “one post of Divisional Accounts Officer (Works) existing in the office of the Executive Engineer, Mechanical & Dredging Division, Kakinada Port may be shifted to Directorate of Ports and the Divisional Accounts Officer (Works) existing in the Office of the Executive Engineer, Marine Division, Kakinada Port may be instructed to look after the Mechanical & Dredging Division, Kakinada Port and that one post of Assistant Engineer/Assistant Executive Engineer from the sanctioned strength of Marine Division, Machilipatnam of A.P Port Department may be re-designated as Law Officer with the Headquarters at Kakinada to work in the Directorate of Ports. 4. After careful examination, Government hereby accord permission to the Director of Ports, Kakinada for shifting of one post of Divisional Accounts Officer (Works), O/o the Executive Engineer, Mechanical & Dredging Division, Kakinada Port to the Directorate of Ports, Kakinada . 5. Divisional Accounts Officer (Works) existing in the Office of the Executive Engineer, Marine Division, Kakinada Port shall be instructed to look after the Mechanical & Dredging Division, Kakinada Port. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (SMPC.II) Department vide their U.O. No. 6725/105/A2/SMPC II/12, Dated: 24-3-2012.
