Now, representations have been received from various Associations and Public representatives to retain Colleges located in Adilabad District under Kakatiya University jurisdiction and not to affiliate them to Telangana University. 3. Government after careful examination, have decided that all the Degree Colleges in Adilabad District will be continued to be affiliated to Kakatiya University instead of affiliating them to Telangana University and accordingly decided to amend the Schedule of the Andhra Pradesh Universities Act, 1991(Andhra Pradesh Act No. 4 of 1991) 4. Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extraordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated:07.03.2012. NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred under sub section (1) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Universities Act, 1991 (Andhra Pradesh Act No.4 of 1991), the Government hereby makes the following amendments to the Schedule of the said Act. AMENDMENT In the Schedule to the said Act:- 1. In column (3) against Sl. No.7 Telangana University:- (i) Item “(3) Adilabad” shall be omitted. (ii) For item “(2) Nizamabad” the item “Nizamabad” shall be substituted. (PTO): 2 : 2. In column (3) against Sl.No.2 Kakatiya University, after item “2.Khammam” item “3. Adilabad” shall be added.
