(Elecs.C) Dept., U.O.No. 4514/Elecs.C/A1/2009-8,dt.25.2.2012. oOo ORDER: In the G.O. nineth read above, orders have been issued for further continuation of the 294 Deputy Tahsildar posts at each Constituency level from 01.10.2011 to 31.01.2012 to attend the work relating to continuous updation of Electoral Rolls and Issue of EPICs at Constituency Headquarters at Tahsildar Offices in the State. 2. The Election Commission of India has ordered to take up the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls with reference to 01.01.2012 as qualifying date in all States and Union Territories and extended the date of final publication of draft roll from 05-01- 2012 to 10-01-2012 and ERMS has to implement through out the State. The ECI have also ordered to celebrate the NVD function on 25th January, 2012 in all Polling Stations, Assembly Constituencies and District Level in the State and in view of the ensuing Bye- elections to 7 (seven) vacant Assembly Constituencies in the State, the posts of Deputy Tahsildars have to be continued for further three (3) months from 01-02-2012 to 30-04-2012. 3. Government after careful examination has decided to accord sanction for further continuation of the 294 Deputy Tahsildar posts at each constituency level beyond 31.01.2012 for further period of three (3) months i.e. from 01.02.2012 to 30.04.2012 to attend the work relating to Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls with reference to 01-01-2012 as qualifying date in the State. 4. The expenditure shall be debited to “2015 – Elections – MH. 102 Electoral Officers – SH. (03) District Offices – 010 Salaries”. 5. The General Administration (Elections) Department shall take further necessary action accordingly.
