1. वनयम 21 म,ें उप-वनयम (1) म,ें “एक लाख अट्ठाईस हजार आठ सौ इक्कीस” शब्िों के स्र्ान पर, “एक लाख
इक्यािन हजार आठ सौ अस्सी” शब्िों को रखा जाएगा;
2. वनयम 22 म,ें -
(क) उप-वनयम (1) म,ें "पांच हजार तीन सौ वियालीस" शब्िों के स्र्ान पर, "िह हजार तीन सौ तीन" शब्िों
को रखा जाएगा;
(ख) उप-वनयम (2) म,ें “एक हजार िो सौ अट्ठासी” शब्िों के स्र्ान पर, “एक हजार पांच सौ उन्नीस” शब्िों को
रखा जाएगा; और

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st April, 2026
S.O. 1694(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of section 4A of the Carriage
by Air Act, 1972 (69 of 1972), and pursuant to rule 24 of Chapter III of the Third Schedule to the said Act, the
Central Government, having regard to the provisions of the said Act, and being satisfied that it is necessary
or expedient to give effect to the limits of liability as revised by the depository, hereby makes the following
provision in the said Third Schedule with effect from the 28th December, 2024, namely:-
1. In rule 21, in sub-rule (1), for the words "one lakh twenty- eight thousand eight hundred twenty-one
", the words " one lakh fifty-one thousand eight hundred eighty" shall be substituted;
2. In rule 22, -
(a) in sub-rule (1), for the words " five thousand three hundred forty- six ", the words "six thousand
three hundred three" shall be substituted;
(b) in sub-rule (2), for the words " one thousand two hundred eighty- eight ", the words "one
thousand five hundred nineteen" shall be substituted; and
(c) in sub-rule (3), for the words " twenty-two ", the words "twenty-six" shall be substituted.
