MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (Department of Health and Family Welfare) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17th October, 2024 G.S.R. 662(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Health Service Rules, 2014, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Central Health Service (Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. In the Central Health Service Rules, 2014- (i) in Schedule-II, under the heading 4(I) 'TEACHING SPECIALIST SUB-CADRE (Assistant Professor or Associate Professor or Professor)’, against serial number 1, under the sub-heading ‘MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE’, under entry (g) relating to ‘Dr. RAM MANOHAR LOHIA HOSPITAL, NEW DELHI’, after serial number 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:- “5. Cardiac Anaesthesia 03” ; (ii) in Schedule-VI, under the heading ‘SUPER SPECIALITIES’, after serial number 59 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:- Doctorate of Medicine (Cardiac Anesthesiology); or “59A.
