NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th March, 2026.
S.O. 1447(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with sub-
section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the National Dental Commission Act, 2023 (21 of
2023), the Central Government hereby constitutes the National Dental Commission with effect from the 19th
day of March, 2026, consisting of the following members, namely:-
1. Dr. Sanjay Tewari, Principal, Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post-Graduate Institute of Dental Science,
Rohtak shall be appointed as Chairperson of the said Commission for a term of four years or till attaining the
age of seventy years with effect from the 19th day of March, 2026.
2. The following shall be the ex-officio members of the said Commission, namely:-
(1) The President of the Under-Graduate and Post- Graduate Dental Member, ex-officio;

(2) The President of the Dental Assessment and Rating Board Member, ex-officio;
(3) The President of the Ethics and Dental Registration Board Member, ex-officio;
(4) The Director General of Health Services, Directorate General of Member, ex-officio;

3. Under clause (a) of sub-section (4) of section 4, the following shall be appointed as part- time Member for
a period of four years or till attaining the age of seventy years with effect from the 19th day of March, 2026,

4. Under sub-section (1) of section 8, Shri Arindam Modak, ISS (1998) shall be the Secretary of the

March, 2026.
