NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th March, 2026.
S.O. 1448(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 16 read with section 18 of
the National Dental Commission Act, 2023 (21 of 2023), the Central Government hereby constitutes the following
Autonomous Boards, with effect from the 19th day of March, 2026; namely: -
(a) Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Dental Education Board;
(b) Dental Assessment and Rating Board; and
(c) Ethics and Dental Registration Board.
2. The Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Dental Education Board shall consist of the following persons, namely:-
Under sub-section (2) of section 17 (President and whole-time Member)
(1) Dr. Chandrashekhar Janakiram, Professor and Head of Department (Public Health Dentistry), President;
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi
