NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd June, 2026
S.O. 3274(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas
(Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of October,
2026 as the date on which the provisions at serial number 62 in the Schedule to the said Act, relating to the Food
Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (34 of 2006), shall come into force.
