और, उक्त अजधसूचना की प्रजतजलजपयां दिनांक 16 फरवरी, 2026 को िनता को उपलब्ध करा िी गई थी;
और िबदक, अजधसूचना के प्रकािन की जतजथ स े जनधािररत िो माह की अवजध के भीतर प्राप्त आपजियों पर
जवचार करने के पश्चात,् केंरीय सरकार न े प्रस्ट्ताजवत घोषणा को रोकने अथवा उसम ें संिोधन करन े हते ु कोई पयािप्त
आधार नहीं पाया ह।ै
अतः केंरीय सरकार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (3) द्वारा प्रिि िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए,
एतद्वारा इसके साथ संलग्न स्ट्थल मानजचत्र और अनुसूची में जवजनर्ििष्ट स्ट्मारक को राष्ट्रीय महत्त्व का घोजषत करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd July, 2026
S.O. 3594(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Culture
(Archaeological Survey of India) number S.O. 790(E), dated the 16th February, 2026, published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 16th February, 2026, the Central
Government gave two months’ notice of its intention to declare the ancient monument specified in the Site
Plan and the Schedule annexed to the said notification to be of national importance and a copy of the said
notification was affixed at a conspicuous place near the said ancient monument, as required under sub section
(1) of section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958);
And whereas, copies of the aforesaid Gazette notification were made available to the public on the
16th February, 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act);
And whereas, after consideration of objection received within the prescribed period of two months
from the date of publication of the Notification, the Central Government has found no sufficient ground to
withhold or modify the proposed declaration.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the said Act,
the Central Government hereby declares the said ancient monument specified in the Site Plan and the
