New Delhi, the 8th December, 2014
S.O. 3104(E).— In continuation of notification S.O. 3818( E) dated 26th December 2013 vide in exercise of
the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Indian Statistical Institute Act, 1959 (No. 57 of 1959), the
Central Government had constituted a Committee for the period from 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2015 consisting of Official
and Non-official members. In the said committee at Sl. No. (vii) Director/DS (one of the official member) handling ISI
matters in Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is Member–Convenor (Member –Secretary) of
the committee. Now hereby Shri Suvendu Hazra, Deputy Director General handling ISI matters in MoSPI in place of
Director/DS shall be Member-Convenor (Member–Secretary) of the committee.
