Will the MINISTER OFHEALTHAND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleased tostate:
(a) the details of the activities conducted under the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan,
especiallyinAndhra Pradesh;
(b) the details of the funds allocated and disbursed by the Central Government for the
implementation of the campaign,State/UT-wise;
(c) the number of health camps/facilities established, classified State-wise and district-wise
includingAndhra Pradesh;
(d) the number of beneficiaries screened and number of the diseases diagnosed through such
screenings, classified State-wise anddistrict-wise includingAndhra Pradesh;and
(e) whether the Government has assessed the impact and outcomes of this campaign on
improvements in women’s and children’s health indicators and if so, the results of such
assessment?
ANSWER

(a)The “SwasthNari, SashaktParivar Abhiyaan(SNSPA)” campaign was conductedwith the
aim to strengthen healthcare services for women and children across India, including in the
State of Andhra Pradesh, with a focus on improving access, quality care, and awareness
through Jan Bhagidaari.
The following activities have beenconductedduring the campaign:
19.7 lakh countrywide dedicated health camps with a footfall of more than 11 crores
on all healthcare platforms to provide screenings and specialist and telemedicine
services, includingcounselling activities.
Provisionof medicaland healthservices for women, includingcheck-upfor ENT, Eye
andDental check-up.
Promoting healthy lifestyles such as reducing obesity, local and regional food,
distribution of Take Home Ration(THR).
Focusing onwomen's health, including screenings for oral,breast andcervical cancer,anaemia,hypertension, diabetes, tuberculosis andsickle celldiseases.
Providing maternal and child health services, such as antenatal care (ANC) checkups
and immunization and Early Childhood Care and Infant and Young Child Feeding
(IYCF) practices.
Raising awareness about nutrition,menstrual hygiene,andmentalhealth.
Active participation of citizensfor voluntaryblooddonation,Nikshay Mitra Volunteer
andorgan donor registration.
Distribution of digital cards and special registration including Mother and Child
Protection (MCP) Card, Sickle Cell card, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana
(PMMVY) enrolmentandregistration of beneficiary onPOSHANTracker.
(b) Under NHM, funds are released to States/UTs in Flexible Pool to utilize the same for the
campaignsaspertheirneed andpriorities.
(c) The State/UT-wise details regarding the number of health camps conducted, including in
the Stateof Andhra Pradesh isplacedat Annexure-I asreportedbythe StatesandUTs.
(d) The State/UT wise number of beneficiaries screened, including in the State of Andhra
Pradeshisplacedat Annexure-II asreportedbythe StatesandUTs.
(e) The nationwide campaign ran from September 17 to October 2, 2025. As per the report
available, key outcomes of the campaign include 62.6 lakh footfalls for antenatal check-ups,
1.17 crore haemoglobin screenings for anaemia in women, 96.5 lakh adolescent girls
counselled on menstrual hygiene, 1.16 crore counselled for anaemia, and 1.43 crore children
immunized. In addition, over 1 crore women were screened for hypertension, 97.24 lakhs for
diabetes, 40.83 lakhs for oral cancer, 37.75 lakhs for breast cancer, and 19.22 lakhs women
were screenedfor cervical cancer.
