(a) to (f) Under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) All India Institute of
Medical Sciences(AIIMS) are set upin differentpartsof the countryina phased manner.Till
date,establishment of 22AIIMS have beensanctionedunderthe Scheme.Government of Kerala hasidentified andproposed four sites at following locationsfor
the establishment of AIIMS in the State: (i) Kinaloor in Kozhikode district (ii) Kattakada
Taluk in Thiruvananthapuram district (iii) Kottayam district (iv) Ernakulam district. The
proposal hasnot beenapprovedincurrent phase of PMSSY.
