(b) the numberof vacanciesin AIIMS that are filled,category-wise
(c)the estimatedcost overrunson accountof delayinthe construction of AIIMS projectsinthe
country; and
(d) the average perdayin-patient admissions at AIIMS across the country, AIIMS-wise?

(a) to (d) The Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) aims to correct regional
imbalances in the availability of affordable/reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment
facilitiesforqualitymedicaleducationinthe country.The scheme hastwo components, (i)setting up
of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and (ii) upgradation of existing Government
Medical Colleges/Institutions (GMCIs). Till date establishment of 22 new AIIMSs and upgradation
of 75 GMCs has been approved under the scheme. Budget allocated/released under Pradhan Mantri
Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY)isasunder:FinancialYear Allocation/Release(Rs.InCr.)
