ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATE IN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTH AND FAMILYWELFARE (SH.PRATAPRAOJADHAV) (a) to (c) The Government has launched a “National Tele Mental Health Programme” on 10th October, 2022, to further improve access to quality mental health counselling and care services in the country. The details of funds allocatedand utilizedfor NTMHPsince inception andthedetailsthereofisasunder: (inRs.crores) 2022-23 2023-24 2024-25 Institute RE Exp. RE Exp. RE Exp. NTMHP 120.98 65.49 45 42.29 65 32.91 The budget of NTMHP for States/UTs (for Tele-MANAS Cells and District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) Units) has been transferred from the Central Sector Scheme to theCentrally SponsoredScheme to be released under the National HealthMission (NHM) as part of flexipool for providingflexibilitytothe States with effectfrom 01.08.2025. The Government has also launched Tele MANAS Mobile Application on the occasion of World Mental Health Day - October 10, 2024. Tele-MANAS Mobile Application is a comprehensive mobile platform that has been developed to provide support for mental health issues ranging from well-being to mental disorders. The Tele-MANAS Cell at the Armed Forces Medical College was inaugurated on 1st December, 2023 in Pune by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM in the presence of senior officialsfrom Ministry of HealthandFamily Welfare.
