SHRI ARVIND DHARMAPURI: Will the Minister of LAW AND JUSTICE be pleased to state: (a) the present status of proposals relating to proxy voting or alternative voting mechanisms for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) voters registered as overseas electors; (b) whether any framework, amendments, or pilot initiatives have been finalised or are under consideration to facilitate participation of overseas electors in elections, if so, the details thereof; and (c) the eligibility criteria, safeguards, and procedural mechanisms proposed to ensure transparency, secrecy of voting, and prevention of misuse under such provisions?
