BHIM SINGH: Will the Minister of HEALTHAND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleased tostate: (a) the amount paid to private hospitals under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)during the last three years andtill date,year-wiseandStatewise; and (b)whether anycomplaintshave beenreceivedregardingirregularitiesintheabove payments, pendingclaimsor quality-related issues, if so, the detailsof actionstakenthereon? ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATEIN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTHAND FAMILYWELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAOJADHAV) (a) & (b): Under Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), the settlement of claims is a regular and uninterrupted process and claims are settled by respective State Health Agencies as per claim adjudication guidelines issued by National Health Authority. Further, for timely settlement of claims, the permissible turnaround time is within 15daysof claimsubmission forintra-state hospitals(hospitals locatedwithinthe State) and within 30 days of claim submission in case of portability claims (hospitals located outside the State). Under AB-PMJAY, claimssubmitted by the empanelled hospitals are scrutinizedbased onthe clinical documents, investigation reportsandother supporting records, in accordancewith the prescribed standard treatment guidelines. For any irregularities in payments, pending claims or quality-related issues, a hospital-specific toll-free helpline number 14413 has been set-up toaddress the concernsof hospitals on a real-time basis. *****
