storage facility for farmers in Mau and Ballia districts of Uttar Pradesh during the

(a) & (b): Yes, Sir. The Government has taken several steps to provide well equipped
storage facilities to farmers across the country, including in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare is implementing Agricultural Marketing
Infrastructure (AMI) sub-scheme under the Integrated Scheme for Agricultural Marketing
(ISAM), and Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF). These schemes aim to reduce post-
harvest losses, enhance warehousing and improve the marketing infrastructure available
to farmers. The State wise storage infrastructure created under AMI is at Annexure-I &
support extended under AIF is at Annexure-II.
(c): The number of storage capacity sanctioned and financial support released under
