SHRIRAHULSINGHLODHI: SHRI MITESHBHAI RAMESHBHAI PATEL: Will the MINISTER OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state: (a) the details of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) wherein all the expanded service packages of 12 essential Comprehensive Primary Health Care services (CPHC) are fully operational, State/UT-wise; (b) the details of the progress of the said Ayushman Arogya Mandirs from the year 2022 till date; (c) the number of Sub-Health Centres (SHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) upgraded and designated as Ayushman Arogya Mandirs during the last three years, State-wise including Kanker, Balod districts of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh; (d) the number of SHCs and PHCs upgraded to AAMs in Aspirational Districts and tribal-dominated blocks across the country particularly North-East region including Assam, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh including Kushinagar district, Jharkhand and Sabarkantha and Aravalli districts of Gujarat under the Sabarkantha Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and district-wise in Andhra Pradesh; and (e) the details of the steps taken/proposed to be taken by the Government for strengthening and expanding Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, particularly in underserved and densely populated areas? ANSWER THE MINISTER OFHEALTH AND FAMILYWELFARE (SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA) (a) to (e) AStatement is laid on the Table of the House.STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLYTO LOK SABHA STARRED QUESTION NO. 104 * FOR 6TH FEBRUARY, 2026 (a) to (e) As reported by States/UTs on Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) portal, 1,82,944 AAMs have been operationalized across the country by strengthening Sub Health Centres (SHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs), including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi as on 31.12.2025. State/UT-wise number of AAMs operationalized across the country is enclosed as Annexure-I. TheAAMsincrementally provide12packageof primary healthcareservices across urban, rural, tribal dominated and aspirational districts, encompassing Reproductive and child care services, Communicable diseases, Non Communicable diseases (NCD), etc. To complement the expanded package of services, the essential list of drugs & diagnostics has been expanded to make available 172 drugs & 63 diagnostics at PHC-AAMs and 106 drugs & 14 diagnostics at SHC-AAMs. The cumulative no. of operationalized AAMs from 2021-2022 to 2024-2025, year-wise is as follows: Financial Year Cumulative no. of AAMs 2021-2022 1,17,440 2022-2023 1,59,526 2023-2024 1,72,148 2024-2025 1,76,887 As reported by States/UTs on AAM portal, cumulative number of AAMs operationalized in Kanker, Balod, Kushinagar, Sabarkantha, Aravalli and districts of Andhra Pradesh, as on 31.12.2025, is at Annexure-II. A total of 30,817 AAMs in 178 tribal districts in 26 States and 24,327 AAMs in 112 aspirational districts in 27 States have been operationalized till 31.12.2025. Under the National Health Mission, this Ministry provides technical and financial support to the States/UTs, including National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, to strengthen and expand AAMs, based on the proposals received in the form of ProgrammeImplementation Plans (PIPs). Government of India provides approval for the proposals received in the form of Record of Proceedings (RoPs) as per norms & available resources.
