(a) whether the Government has operationalised any Health and Wellness Centre
(Ayushman Arogya Mandirs) under the PM-ABHIM scheme in the rural segments of
Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha Constituency in Punjab, specifically in Mohali, Ropar,
Hoshiarpur andNawanshahr districts, if so, the details thereof;
(b) the amount of funds sanctioned and utilised for diagnostic facilities and maternal
healthcare infrastructure in the said State, district-wise especially in the Balachaur
andGarhshankar blockssince 2021;
(c) the status of the Critical Care Block (CCB) proposed for Ropar district and the
criteria used for selecting blocksfor CCB funding;
(d) whether there are pending any proposals for block-level hospital upgrades in the
Kharar peri-urbanarea,if so, the details thereof; and

(a) to (e): Pradhan Mantri- Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) is a
Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) with some Central Sector Components (CS) which has an
outlayof Rs. 64,180Crores for the scheme period(FY2021-22 toFY2025-26).
Under the CSS component of the scheme, the State of Punjab has been allocated a total amountof Rs. 755.65 crore for establishment of 22 Integrated Public Health Labs (IPHLs) and 21
Critical Care Blocks (CCBs) under PM-ABHIM for the period FY 2021–22 to FY 2025–26. So
far, approvals have been accorded for 22 IPHLs and 22 CCBs amounting to Rs. 676.16 crore.
One 50-bedded CCB, at a unit cost of Rs. 23.75 crore, has been approved at District Hospital
Roopnagarasperthe proposal received from the State.
