Will the Minister of HEALTHAND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleased tostate:
(a) whether the Government maintains updated data regarding the number of beneficiaries
under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Bihar,
particularly in Bhagalpur district and Maharashtra, especially in aspirational districts like
Beed;
(b) if so, the number of beneficiaries, Golden Cards issued and treatments provided in the
country, State-wise anddistrict-wise especially inBeeddistrict;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor and the steps being taken by the Government to compile and
make such data public; and
(d) the totalnumberof operational District Hospitals, Sub-District Hospitals, Rural Hospitals,
Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Sub-Centres in rural areas of the country including Beed
district and whether ambulance or referral transport services are provided under this scheme,
if so, the detailsthereof?

(a)to (c):Atotal of 1.21 crore families are coveredunder AyushmanBharat - PradhanMantri
Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Bihar including 4.38 lakh families in Bhagalpur district.
Further, 2.91lakhfamiliesare coveredunderthe scheme inBeeddistrict of Maharashtra.
As on 28.02.2026, a total of 43.52 crore Ayushman cards have been created including 11.67
lakh cardscreated inthe Beed district of Maharashtra. The State/UT- wise anddistrict - wise
detailsof numberof Ayushman cardscreatedunderthe scheme canbe accessed from the link:
https://dashboard.nha.gov.in/public/cardAs on 31.01.2026, a total of 11.46 crore hospital admissions have been authorized under the
scheme in the country and a total of 71,796 hospital admissions amounting to Rs. 158.39
crore have beenauthorizedinthe Beeddistrict of Maharashtra. The State/UT- wise detailsof
numberof hospital admissions authorized underthe scheme are givenat Annexure.
(d): As on 28.02.2026, a total of 36,229 hospitals are empanelled underthe scheme, of which
19,483 hospitals are public, including District Hospitals, Sub-District Hospitals, Rural
Hospitals, Primary Health Centres. In Beed district of Maharashtra, a total of 127 hospitals
are empanelledunder the scheme,of which 80are public hospitals.
Further, the scheme provides healthcover of Rs. 5 lakhperfamily peryear for secondary and
tertiary care hospitalization across public and private empanelled hospitals in India. AB-
PMJAY covers up to 3 days of pre-hospitalization including diagnostics, premedication, pre-
anesthetic examination, and consultation relevant to the present disease and 15 days of post-
hospitalizationexpenses including drug expenses.Annexure
