ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATEIN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTHAND FAMILYWELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAOJADHAV) (a): In the State of Himachal Pradesh, 5.32 lakh families are eligible under Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). As on31.01.2026,13.68 lakhAyushman cardshavebeencreatedintheStateofHimachalPradesh. (b): As on 31.01.2026, the details of number of hospitals empanelled under AB-PMJAY in KangraandChambadistrictsofHimachalPradeshareasbelow: District Number of public hospitals Number of private hospitals Kangra 24 36 Chamba 8 5 (c):AB-PMJAYprovideshealthcoverageofRs.5lakhperfamilyperyearforsecondaryand tertiarycare hospitalization. All pre–existing conditionsare covered from dayone. *****
