SHRI RAM SHIROMANI VERMA: Will the Minister of LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT be pleased to state: (a)the details of the number of workers benefited from Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-SYM) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana in Shravasti and Balrampur Aspirational Districts of Uttar Pradesh; (b)the details of the workers registered in the said districts, received the regular pension or insurance claim under the said Schemes; (c)whether the Government has launched any special campaign to publicize the benefits of the said Schemes in the said districts; and (d)if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT (SUSHRI SHOBHA KARANDLAJE) (a) to (d): As on 10.07.2025 the number of workers registered under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM-SYM) scheme in Shravasti and Balrampur is 3739 and 5706 respectively. The scheme was launched in 2019,the pension to the beneficiaries will start after attaining the age of 60 years i.e. from 2039. The measures taken by the Government to publicize the benefits of PM-SYM scheme are as under: (i) Holding periodic review meeting with States/ UTs. (ii) Common Services Centres (CSCs) are given an incentive on every eligible person enrolled in PM-SYM. (iii) Launch of new features such as Voluntary Exit, Revival Module, Claim Status and Account Statement. Contd..2/-:: 2 :: (iv) Extension of revival of dormant accounts from 1 year to 3 years. (v) Two-way integration of PM-SYM and eShram. (vi) SMS campaign to create awareness. (vii) Addressing Chief Secretaries of States regarding enrolment under PM-SYM scheme. Further, the number of workers benefitted and details of the workers registered in the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana in Shravasti and Balrampur districts is as: PMSBY Cumulative As on 02- Cumulative Cumulative No. Claim Amount 07-2025 Enrolments of Claims paid paid (In Cr.) Regular campaigns were held at grass root level in order to increase coverage under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), with active participation of banks and local administration. Presently, 3 months “Financial Inclusion Saturation Campaign” has been launched across the country in 2.70 lakh Gram Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) from 01.07.2025 to 30.09.2025, with the aim of increasing enrolments in PMSBY. To achieve saturation in these two Jansuraksha schemes, camps are being organized at Gram Panchayat and ULBs level by Banks, providing residents with direct access to information and assistance for enrolling in the scheme. The initiative is aimed to raise awareness and improve participation, helping to bridge gaps in rural areas including enrolments on the spot. *****
