SHRI RAJKUMAR ROAT: Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE be pleased to state: (a) the schemes being run by the Government for farmers; (b) the budgetary allocation, utilisation for various schemes made during the last five years and the year-wise, scheme-wise details thereof; (c) the number of applications received under the PM Kisan Yojana during the last five years and the number of the applicants considered eligible including the number of beneficiaries benefitted under the scheme, State and category-wise; (d) the number of the applications received under PM-Kisan Yojana in the Lok Sabha Constituency of Banswara and the number of applications rejected; and (e) the number of the beneficiaries getting benefits under the scheme and the year-wise, panchayat-wise and category-wise details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE , कृ(cid:874)ष एव ं (cid:873)कसान क(cid:227)याण रा(cid:207)य मं(cid:287)ी (SHRI RAMNATH THAKUR) (a) & (b): Agriculture is a state subject. Government of India implements various Central Sector and Centrally Sponsored Schemes for requirements of the agriculture sector and interest of farmers. The details of allocations under schemes being implemented by Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is given at Annexure I. (c): Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) provides annual financial assistance of 6,000 to eligible farmer families. Government of India has disbursed over Rs 3.68 lakh Cr. through 19 installments since inception of the scheme. 19th installment of PM-KISAN scheme was released on 24th February, 2025. The State-wise and category wise details of Farmers getting benefit of PM- KISAN Scheme in 19th Installment release of PM- KISAN Scheme is given at Annexure II.The installment wise no. of Beneficiaries and amount Disbursed is given Annexure III. (d) & (e) Number of beneficiary in Banswara District (Rajasthan) of PM-KISAN Scheme (as per 19th installment) is 2,25,040 and total amount disbursed since inception of the Scheme is Rs. 690.28 Crore. Panchayat-wise data is not maintained by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. The registration of farmers in the Scheme is an ongoing process. The farmers can register themselves through PM-KISAN Portal, PM-KISAN App, and Common Service Centers (CSCs). All such applications are approved by the concerned States/UTs after due verification. In the cases, where the required documents/details are not provided by the applicant, the application is liable to be rejected by the State/UT Governments. Once it is approved by the States/UTs, benefit is processed immediately by the Department and the same is released in the subsequent instalment. The Registration of Farmers in PM-KISAN Scheme after verification of eligibility comes under ambit of respective State/UTs.
