(a) the details of total budgetary provision made for the financial year
2025-26 and the comparison of allocation of sports budget during the
last five years;
(b) the manner in which this budgetary provision has been distributed
among major programmes like Khelo India, National Sports
Federation (NSF), Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Panchayat Yuva
Krida and Khel Abhiyan (ΡΥΚΚΑ);
(c) the details of provisions made for inclusive schemes like sports
for disabled people, women leagues and tribal/youth participation;
(d) the details of the funds allocated for schemes implemented for
disabled people, women and tribal community; and
(e) the status of schemes implemented, funds released/received and
sports programmes benefitted in above all context in Chhattisgarh?

crore at Budget Estimate stage for the year 2025-26 for utilization
under its various schemes. The details of the Budget Estimates for

schemes of this Ministry are available in public domain on the

Under the Khelo India Scheme, the component ‘Promotion of
Inclusiveness through Sports’ focuses on making sports accessible
to all, especially by promoting sports for women, persons with
disabilities, marginalized communities, and by supporting
rural/indigenous games. It has been done through initiatives like
conduct of Khelo India Para Games (KIPG), organization of ASMITA
women league in 29 sports disciplines across the country. Various
indigenous games have been included as competitive/ demo sport in
the Khelo India Youth games and Khelo India University Games. The
details of the same is available in public domain at

(e): Funds are allocated by this Ministry scheme-wise, not state-
wise. However, under the component ‘Creation and Up-gradation of
Sports Infrastructure’ of the Khelo India Scheme, assistance is
provided to the states for infrastructure creation/upgradation. Out of
328 sports infrastructure projects sanctioned, 08 projects have been
sanctioned in the State of Chhattisgarh. The details of these projects
