GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF TOURISM LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO.2472 ANSWERED ON 03.08.2026 CAPACITY BUILDING FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS SCHEME 2472. SHRI B K PARTHASARATHI: Will the Minister of TOURISM be pleased to state: (a) the details of number of training programmes held and beneficiaries trained under the Capacity Building for Service Providers (CBSPs) scheme, State/UT and year-wise during the last three years; (b) the list of sectors where training programmes have been provided under the said scheme, especially in Andhra Pradesh; (c) the details of number of beneficiaries trained in Andhra Pradesh, district and year-wise during the last three years; and (d) the list of private and Government agencies selected to impact training under the said scheme in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF TOURISM (SHRI GAJENDRA SINGH SHEKHAWAT) (a) to (d): The Capacity Building for Service Providers scheme (CBSP) of the Ministry of Tourism is conducted in the tourism and hospitality sectors. It provides short-term training, skill development, and certification, across the country including Andhra Pradesh, in urban, rural, and tribal areas. The CBSP scheme focuses on Programmes like Hunar Se Rozgar Tak, Entrepreneurship Programmes, and Tourism Awareness Programmes.
