(a)to(e) The revision of CGHS package rates is a continuous process. In recent years,
CGHS have revised (i) Consultation Fee, ICU Rates and Room rents, (ii) 36 Radiological
investigations and other investigations, (iii) 43 Cardiology procedures and Imaging, and (iv) 58
General Surgery,on12.04.2023,19.06.2023, 19.12.2023and01.02.2024 respectively.
Overhauling the complete list of investigations and procedures, is envisaged, under
which the new rates have been approved by the Ministry. A new version of the Bill Clearing
Software for CGHS has been taken up by CGHS in coordination with NHA, to simultaneously
implementthe newrates andempanelmenttermsandconditions.
A total of 992 private hospitals with more than 50 beds are empanelled under CGHS,
