No response has been received from the Government of Jharkhand.

REGARDING CHIANKI AIRPORT UNDER UDAN SCHEME ASKED BY SHRI
VISHNU DAYAL RAM.
(a) to (c): Daltonganj airstrip near Chianki village in Palamu district, Jharkhand,
owned by the State Government of Jharkhand, was identified for RCS flight
operations under the UDAN 4.2 round of bidding.
The State Government was requested to provide its consent and confirm the
availability of land free of cost and free from encumbrances required for the
development of the airport. Subsequently, the State Government was again requested
to provide the status of the airport, and consent/confirm regarding availability of
land, provision of security, fire services, meteorological services and operation &
management of the airport operations.
No response has been received from the Government of Jharkhand in this regard.
