ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS
AND MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS.
(SHRI HARSH MALHOTRA)
****
(a) & (b). The Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme (CCFS) issued
vide circular dated 24.02.2026 came into force from 15.04.2026 and was
initially till 15.07.2026 . The scheme has been extended till 31.08.2026 by
1the Ministry vide circular dated 08.07.2026. As of 13.07.2026, a total of
92,859 number of companies incorporated in India have availed the CCFS,
2026 along with 33 Foreign Companies. The State/UT wise figures are
provided in Annexure-1. Further, 99 companies have filed MSC-1 Form for
obtaining dormant status and 11829 companies have filed STK-2 Form for
Striking Off. The State/UT-wise details are provided in Annexure 2. As the
CCFS,2026 has been extended till 31.08.2026, the number of non-
compliant companies is not final. Hence, at this stage, grounds for
enforcement action against such companies are not there.
(c) & (d). CCFS is aimed at improving compliance levels and ensuring that
the corporate registry reflects accurate and up-to-date information.
Additionally, it is aimed at facilitating inactive or defunct entities to opt
for dormancy/closure by paying lesser fees. Since the Ministry has already
extended the scheme till 31.08.2026 vide circular dated 08.07.2026, the
full impact of the scheme can only be assessed thereafter.
