3579 Shri Samik Bhattacharya:
Will the Minister of Corporate Affairs be pleased to state:
(a) total number of companies registered in the State of West Bengal as per records of the
Ministry, category-wise (active, dormant, under liquidation, etc);
(b) the number of active companies in West Bengal that reported net profits exceeding ₹1 crore
and ₹10 crore respectively in each of the last five financial years;
(c) the number of companies in West Bengal that have filed statutory returns in Form AOC-4
(financial statements) and Form MGT-7 (annual return) during each of the last five financial
years, year-wise; and
(d) the number of companies in West Bengal that were struck off under Section 248 of the
Companies Act in last five years?

(a) Number of companies registered in the State of West Bengal as per records of the Ministry,
category-wise is at Annexure-A.
(b) The number of active companies in West Bengal that reported net profits exceeding ₹1 crore
and ₹10 crore respectively in each of the last five financial years is at Annexure-B.
(c) The number of companies in West Bengal that have filed statutory returns in Form AOC-4
(financial statements) and Form MGT-7 (annual return) in each of the last five financial years,
year-wise is at Annexure-C.
