SHRI BHAUSAHEB RAJARAM WAKCHAURE: Will the Minister of LAW AND JUSTICE be pleased to state: (a) the time at which the Constitution of India was last published and made available in the market; (b) whether several amendments have been made to the Constitution and whether the latest edition of the Constitution of India is not available to the general public; (c) if so, the steps taken or proposed to be taken by the Government to make available the latest edition of the Constitution of India incorporating all the amendments; and (d) the reasons for the delay in this regard? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) OF THE MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE; AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS (SHRI ARJUN RAM MEGHWAL) (a): The diglot edition of the Constitution of India was last published by the Legislative Department on 1st May, 2024 and the same is available in the market. (b): Till date, one hundred and six amendments have been made to the Constitution and available on the official website of the Legislative Department at www.legislative.gov.in for benefit of general public. The Constitution has also been published in Assamese, Bodo, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Maithili, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu and Santhali language incorporating amendments upto the one hundred and sixth amendments in book-form and uploaded on the official website. The virtually updated version of the Constitution in Bengali and Urdu language is uploaded on the official website. The updation of the Constitution upto 106th amendment in Manipuri, Dogri, Sindhi and Konkani is under process. (c) & (d): Not applicable, in view of above. ****
