Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state:
(a) the current status of construction of the Multi-purpose Hall at Solapur
University under the Khelo India Scheme;
(b) the expected timeline for the completion of the said Multi-purpose Hall;
(c) whether any financial audit has been conducted with respect to this
project and if so, the details thereof; and
(d) whether the Government has received any proposals for investment or
development of sports infrastructure in Solapur district and if so, the details
thereof?

(a) As per the last progress report received from the grantee, the project of
construction of the Multi-purpose Hall at Solapur University under the Khelo
India Scheme is 85% complete.
(b) and (c) The timeline of completion of infrastructure projects sanctioned
under the Scheme is two years from the date of its sanction. The
responsibility of executing the projects rests with the grantee. Financial
audit of activities of the Union Government, including projects sanctioned
under Khelo India Scheme, is a continuous process.
