SHRI SHAKTISINH GOHIL Will the Minister of CIVIL AVIATION be pleased to state:- (a) the causes identified for the crash of the aircraft carrying the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Ajit Pawar; (b) the details of the aircraft's flight path, specifically its point of origin before arriving in Mumbai for the departure; (c) whether an inquiry committee has been constituted to investigate this accident, if so, the findings or conclusions provided by the committee, so far; and (d) the timeline within which the inquiry committee is expected to complete its investigation and submit the final report? ANSWER Minister of State in the Ministry of CIVIL AVIATION (Shri Murlidhar Mohol) (a) to (d): An investigation has been ordered by Director General (DG), Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) to enquire into the cause of accident of Learjet 45XR aircraft bearing registration VT-SSK at Baramati on 28.01.2026. A preliminary report on the accident has been published by AAIB on 28.02.2026 containing factual information based on the evidence available at that point of time. The report is available on their website. The investigation is under progress. All probable causes leading to the accident are being investigated. The final investigation report will be published after completion of the investigation. ******
