SHRI SANJAY HARIBHAU JADHAV: Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ(cid:874)ष एव ं (cid:873)कसान क(cid:227)याण मं(cid:287)ी be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has taken any steps to provide well-equipped storage facilities to farmers across the country, including the State of Maharashtra, to store their produce; (b) if so, the details of such storage facilities, State-wise; and (c) the details of the steps taken by the Government to increase crop storage facilities for farmers in Parbhani district of Maharashtra during the last five years? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ(cid:874)ष एव ं (cid:873)कसान क(cid:227)याण रा(cid:207)य मं(cid:287)ी (SHRI RAMNATH THAKUR) (a) to (c): The Government has taken several steps to provide well equipped storage facilities to farmers across the country, including State of Maharashtra. Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare is implementing Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure (AMI) sub-scheme under the Integrated Scheme for Agricultural Marketing (ISAM), Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) and Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH). These schemes aim to reduce post-harvest losses, enhance warehousing and improve marketing infrastructure available to farmers. State-wise details of storage projects sanctioned under AMI, AIF and MIDH Schemes including Maharashtra are at Annexure. During the last five years, 28 projects with storage capacity of 93195.87 MT under AMI Scheme and 30 Warehouse projects under AIF have been sanctioned for Parbhani District of Maharashtra.Annexure AMI - State wise Progress of Storage Infrastructure as on 30.06.2026 S.
