CSR expenditure by CPSUs
QUESTION
3578. Shri Prakash Chik Baraik:
Will the Minister of Corporate Affairs be pleased to state:
(a) the details of CSR spent by Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) for the
Financial Year 2021-22 to Financial Year 2025-26; and
(b) the details of activities on which the CSR funds are spent, including sector, amount
spent and proportion share of that sector?

(a) & (b): On the basis of annual filings made by the companies in the MCA21 registry,
Development Sector-wise CSR expenditure by PSUs during the Financial Years 2021-22 to
2023-24 is at Annexure.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs had allowed all companies to complete their annual filings
including that of CSR expenditure pertaining to FY 2024-25 till 31st January, 2026 without
payment of additional fees. Companies are still in process of filing for FY 2024-25. As the filing
date for the financial year 2025-26 is not due yet, the information on CSR expenditure by PSUs
for the Financial Year 2025-26 is not available.
