ANSWER MINISTER OF CULTURE AND TOURISM (SHRI GAJENDRA SINGH SHEKHAWAT) (a) The Government of India had established the National Mission on Monuments and Antiquities (NMMA) in 2007 to prepare two national registers on monuments and antiquities. So far the NMMA has digitized 12,46,211 Antiquities and 11,406 Unprotected Monuments (Built Heritage & Sites). (b) An amount of Rs. 20 lakh were allocated for the NMMA during the FY 2024-25. (c) & (d) 4,55,764 antiquities of ASI Museum/ Circles / Branches (Annexure-I) and 7,90,447 from other institutions have been digitized by the NMMA (Annexure-II). Details of which are available at NMMA website for public access at http://nmma.nic.in.
