BHAGWAT KARAD Will the Minister of CULTURE be pleased to refer to answer to Unstarred Question 501 given in the Rajya Sabha on the 4th December, 2025 and state:- the details of villages covered, cultural assets documented and special initiatives undertaken in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra under the Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar programme? ANSWER MINISTER OF CULTURE AND TOURISM (SHRI GAJENDRA SINGH SHEKHAWAT) Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar (MGMD) Programme under NMCM captures a wide range of cultural elements, including heritage sites, art forms, prominent artists, oral traditions, beliefs and customs, historical significance, local landmarks, fairs and festivals, traditional dress, ornaments and traditional food. In Maharashtra, 40042 villages have been culturally mapped under MGMD, including the region of Marathwada. Data on MGMD Portal is organised village-wise and not as per regions. *******
