ANSWER
MINISTER OF CULTURE & TOURISM
(SHRI GAJENDRA SINGH SHEKHAWAT)
(a) to (d): The Ministry of Culture is not implementing any specific scheme for the development of
Heritage Villages through the integration of local history, traditional crafts, folk music, cuisine,
and rural tourism. However, the Ministry of Culture undertakes activities relating to the research,
documentation, preservation, and dissemination of India's tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
It also documents and digitally maps the cultural heritage of villages across the country, including
local history, traditional crafts, folk traditions, art forms, and other cultural assets. Such
documentation and cultural mapping initiatives may provide academic and archival support to
broader heritage development programmes undertaken by the Government.
