* The construction of the Mother and Child Care Centre is 93% complete but has been delayed due to:
* Revision in the building plan to meet site and user requirements
* The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic
* Shifting of service block outside the Centre in view of fire safety norms
Steps to Address Infrastructure Gaps:
* Approval has been granted for the construction of an Advanced Neurosciences Centre and a Critical Care Block under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PMABHIM) at PGIMER Chandigarh.
* Approval has been accorded for the establishment of Satellite Centres at Una in Himachal Pradesh and Ferozepur in Punjab.

PGIMER Chandigarh . Approval has also been accorded for establishment of Satellite
Centre at Una in Himachal Pradesh and at Ferozepur in Punjab. To strengthen Digital
