Parliament Question: Discontinuation of Railway Pink Book

SHRI ADHIKARI DEEPAK DEV: Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state: (a) the reason of discontinuation of release of 'Pink Book' in Railway during the last two years; and (b) whether there is any plan to release said book in upcoming years and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF RAILWAYS, INFORMATION & BROADCASTING AND ELECTRONICS & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SHRI ASHWINI VAISHNAW) (a) & (b): A Consolidated Budget Statement is prepared for each Zonal Railway and Production Unit incorporating details of Earnings, Working Expenses, Capital expenditure, list of works etc. Consolidated Budget Statement for 2025-26 is available in public domain and can be accessed on Indian Railway’s official website. Further, preparation of Consolidated Budget Statement for 2026-27 has been taken up. ***** §
