Dormant Cashew Processing Companies in Kerala

Will the Minister of CORPORATE AFFAIRS
be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government is aware that a significant number of
registered private limited cashew processing companies in Kerala,
particularly in the districts of Kollam and Alappuzha have become
dormant or non-operational due to severe financial constraints, lack
of working capital and diminishing export competitiveness;
(b) whether the Government maintains detailed data on such inactive or
non-filing private cashew companies;
(c) if so, the number of such entities identified in Kerala along with the
action taken or proposed to facilitate their revival and reintegration
into the formal economy; and
(d) whether the Government is considering any targeted interventions
to revive such dormant cashew processing units, including but not
limited to special credit restructuring mechanisms, simplified
compliance relief for reactivation or leveraging Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) funds of larger industries for cluster-based
development;
