Under AB-PMJAY, settlement of claims is an ongoing process and claims are settled by

hospitals (hospitals located within State) and within 30 days in case of portability claims
(hospitals located outside State). Claim settlement is monitored at the highest level and it is
ensured thatclaimissettled within definedturnaroundtime.
The empanelment of private hospitals is entirely voluntary under the scheme. A total of 609
