Shri Murari Lal Meena: Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that a situation has arisen where certain States have failed to provide their due State share in time under the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rojgar and Ajeevika Mission Gramin (VB-GRAM-G) to guarantee 125 days of employment, if so, the details of the pending amount, State-wise; (b) whether the delay by State Governments in providing their financial contribution in time is likely to adversely affect the effective implementation of the scheme, the guarantee of 125 days of employment and the timely payment to rural workers, if so, the steps taken by the Government in this regard; and (c) whether the Government proposes any alternative financial mechanism or policy change to protect the interests of workers, prevent delays in wage payments and ensure smooth operation of the scheme in the event of delays in contributions by States, if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (SHRI KAMLESH PASWAN) (a) to (b): All States/UTs have notified the Viksit Bharat G RAM G Scheme and have informed that adequate budgetary provisions for the State share have been made by them according to the requirements. The Ministry has allocated an amount of Rs 95692.31 Crore among the States/UTs as Interim allocation for the period starting from 1st July, 2026 to 31st March, 2027. The Ministry has also given a mother sanction for the first installment of funds amounting to Rs 25495.32 Crore based on the States' proposals.
