ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATE INTHE MINISTRYOFHEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAOJADHAV) (a) to (e): Public Health and Hospital is a State subject. Under National Health Mission (NHM), financial and technical support is provided to the States/UTs to strengthen their healthcare systems upto District Hospitals based on the requirements posed by States/UTs in their Programme Implementation Plans (PIPs) within their overall Resource Envelope. Government of India provides approval for the proposals in the form of Record of Proceedings(RoPs) as pernorms & available resources. India has taken several measures in the recent past for accelerating the progress towards the goal of elimination of Lymphatic Filariasis with the launch of Enhanced five -pronged strategy for the elimination of LF and one of the important strategies is on a mission mode namely pan India Mass Drug Administration (MDA) campaign, twice a year on 10th February and 10th August covering 159 LF endemic districts. The implementation, progress and performance of various health programmes are regularly assessed through review meetings, field visits as well as through Annual Program Planning and Review by National Programme Co-ordination Committee (NPCC), Common Review Missions (CRMs), Health Monitoring Information System (HMIS), Reproductive Child Health (RCH) portal, Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) portal andNon Communicable Diseases (NCD)portal. *****
