Will the Minister of LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT be pleased to
state:
(a)the details of the number of employees registered under
Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in Bhilwara Lok
Sabha Constituency;
(b)whether there is ESI hospital in Bhilwara, Rajasthan;
(c)if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;
(d)whether the work pertaining to the transfer of ESI hospital,
Bhilwara to the Central Government is pending for several years;
(e)if so, the details thereof; and
(f)the reasons for pendency of transfer of the said hospital?

(a) to (f): The total number of employees registered under
Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in Bhilwara Lok
Sabha Constituency were 74,314 as on 31.03.2024. At present, one
50-bedded hospital is functional in Bhilwara, Rajasthan under
Employees’ State Insurance Scheme (ESIS). ESIC has taken up the
matter with the State Government of Rajasthan for transfer of the
said hospital in 2021. However, the finalization of transfer is subject
to the consent of State Government of Rajasthan.
