Will the Minister of LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT be pleased to
state:
(a)whether the Government is aware that the construction of the 100-
bedded ESI Hospital at Ballari in Karnataka has been delayed for
over three years;
(b)if so, the reasons therefor; and
(c)the revised timeline by which the Government intends to complete
and operationalise the said hospital?

(a) to (c): Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has
assigned the work to Central Public Work Department (CPWD) for
construction of the 100-bedded ESI Hospital at Ballari. The project is
at conceptual plan stage. The timeline of completion of such project
varies as per the various stages of the construction viz. detailed
concept planning, approvals / clearance of various authorities etc.
