(a) to (d): Setting up of Employees' State Insurance (ESI) Corporation hospital by assessing feasibility as per pre-defined norms of ESIC is a continuous process. As per ESIC norms, minimum 1,00,000 and 1,50,000 Insured Persons (IPs) are required for setting up of new 150 and 200 bedded ESI Hospital respectively. Also, there should not be any other ESI Hospital within a radius of 50 Kms. The total number of Insured Persons in Nalgonda district of Telangana were 789, 2727 and 5061 during 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 respectively. At present, the medical services to ESI beneficiaries in Nalgonda district are provided through 01 ESIS Dispensary at Miryalguda and 05 private tie-up hospitals. *****
