(a) whether the Government proposes to establish a Central Agricultural University in
Bahraich Lok Sabha Constituency which is primarily lacking any agricultural university in the
vicinity, so that the farmers and youth of this aspirational district can get benefitted from the
advanced agricultural education and research facilities;
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government proposes to consider inclusion of the same in future; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): At present, there is no proposal to establish a Central Agricultural University in
Bahraich. However, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, there is 1 Central Agricultural University, 2
Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty, 1 Deemed University (ICAR) and 5 State
Agricultural and allied sciences Universities to take care the youth and farmers of the entire
Uttar Pradesh including Bahraich district namely:
